Okay...games are still abounding, but I've neglected my duties...summer is upon us, so things are busy...I'm hosting a new games night at the Plains Hotel every Tuesday at 7pm as well, so that's taking up a lot of my time...please join us! Okay...sorry I haven't posted in forever...I am getting lots of grief about it...
There is a tourney at 7:30 at Marty's in the hood tonight, and a hockey fundraiser tomorrow at 3pm at the Eastview Community Center...cheap buy ins tonight, and 30 buck buy in tomorrow, with re-buys and an add-on, full bar available...
What else is new? We've had a number of games here, both tourney and cash...give me a shout to get in on the action! A very special thank you to Kelly, who brought us some wicked home made deer sausage and strapped the feed bag on last week! Cheers! Up the Ante, jj.

Queens and More Queens

Well, I never went to the Moose Jaw Casino until last night, and let me tell ya, it's not all it's cracked up to be...there was a single 5-10 limit game, and I cruised in and out of there pretty quickly, with Jacks holding up once, and Queens bowing to the ever-impressive 3-8. I did deal the first hand of poker ever to a newly engaged cute little lesbian couple...wouldn't you just know it, they held the black queens! I went to the spa, then to a wonderful little place called "Bobby's" for some traditional Scottish fare & trivia...we cruised over to the casino afterward, and the gals played some silly slots while I floundered at the poker table.
I am hosting a game this evening at my place in Walsh Acres...it's been pretty slim pickings lately, so I'm really looking forward to a game! See you tonight! Up the Ante, jj.

I'm telling ya...this SO reminds me of last night's shenanigans. We played until after 5am, so things were getting more than a little silly. Harland, Brain, Schultz, Fraser, Troy, Brad, Patrick, & I played 2 tournaments last night. There was a multitude of fist pumps, a jalapeno cheese ball, & trash talk that would make a sailor blush...a great time was had by all! We hope your kicking it at the Derby, Glenn, & Kelly, make sure to avoid those bears at all costs! This video will show just how dangerous some of our animal brothers can be! Up the Ante, jj.
